I have a 2012 Prius Gen III Two without the JBL & nav stereo. I'm looking to upgrade to a DDin stereo unit, possibly an Alpine IVE-530 unit. The problem is that the few places I've contacted say the 2012 dash kit is not available at this time and differs from the 2010 & 2011 models. Does anyone have any information on this?
I was finally able to get my Alpine installed in my Prius. The problem is that many audio sales & install locations, as well as Crutchfield.com and parts house Metrahouse are not updating the 2012 Prius as having the same faceplate s the 2010 and 2011 years. They're all the same.
