LED turn signal bulbs w/projector lens

He would still need the LED flasher relay cause he's changing the front turn signals to LEDs as well.

 

too bad the revier led corner 2012 doesn't fit.

 

Yeh that's right. I need to swap out my front turn signals. Down there on the front bumper. Anyone got suggestions of a good bulb?

 

I can tell you which ones not to buy... I got these from JDM toy and they are not bright enough by a long shot.

Probably some 7w projectors I would think might do the trick...

Sean, are you planning to hook up the second "element" (white) for these bulbs and if so, how?

 

I was thinking about it. It would require a change in the bulb socket to accommodate the 2nd pole(which are different between the 10-11 vs. the 2012) & hooking the up to the OEM DRLs.

I tried the JDM bulbs and they were not even close to matching the brightness of the original incandescents. I just got through installing these and am really happy with the brightness:

I have the 12W version of the Eagle Eye SMT Tower fixture. I couldn't see the benefit in going with the 14W version because the extra wattage is on the end of the bulb, which actually faces out to the side of the car with the way the bulb fixture fits into the housing. Most of the forward-facing light comes from the LEDs on the side of the bulb fixture, which has 3 x 3W LEDs, the same number and wattage for both the 12 and 14 watt bulbs.

so the bulb is white for the parking light, and it will turn to yellow when the signal lights are activated ?

Are u sure ur all LED? U got the bulbs behind the amber reflectors?

So in the daylight, even with the sun shining on them, you can still make them out? The ones I have are completely obliterated by the sun light and can tell if they are on or not.
