Have had my v for two weeks already. Haven't seen another one yet. But I've seen 3 c's, 3 GEN II's and probably 5 GEN III's. I have to admit, after becoming a Prius owner I'm paying more attention to these cars on the road...
Starting to see more V's on the road and in SD the taxi companies love them as well as some of the limo companies for airport shuttles. C's are starting to pop up mostly in the Hillcrest, Mission Hills area and if I counted every Gen III lift back i'd run out of numbers...i'd estimate just while driving in SD I see 20-30 not including the ones in OC and LA
We were up there from Iowa this weekend and when we went to the boat ramp on the Mississippi in Champlin another red V was in there. Driving home on I-35w heading into the city we were behind a volt and a prius and beside another prius. Pretty cool. Overall I was surprised how few Prius roam Minneapolis area.
Oddly enough, a few days after I posted, a black "v" parked right next to me at the store. I've since seen one other silver "v."
They're not that rare. I see at least one every few days around here. Prius c sightings are pretty rare for me though.
Seen quite a few v's around Northern Virginia and even parked next to one at a restaurant. Did see my first v - taxi though at local dealership last week, technician told it was also in for initial 5k maintenance.
I counted 12 V Taxi's outside of San Diego International Terminal 2 and 2 regular lift backs yesterday around 5pm
Central CT here, We've had ours since May. It has just under 10,000 miles on it and I have not seen another one on the road yet. About a million regular prius cars though. I am amazed at how many are on the road.
Just had to resurrect this thread again. I'm seeing more and more V on the road now, almost every other day I'm spotting one. This afternoon on my way into Edmonton I was passed by a dark blue one, must have been touring trim or higher cause it had fog lights. Then at my destination I saw another light blue one in the parking lot. I saw only one regular liftback. Usually I always see 1 or 2 liftbacks on most trips into the city but first time I saw 2 V and only 1 liftback. You Californians may not find that impressive but in the great white north that's a pretty impressive number of Prii to spot in a day.
Took a trip from CT to Ogunquit, ME. Not one V in sight the entire trip, although a few c's in Wells, ME. Don't see that many here in CT, although someone has the exact car we have in our town.
In Norway, Prii are easy to find...but I have only seen 1 or 2 Prius+ on the road or out and about since their release this past summer.
