Bought a 2012 Prius Plug-In yesterday and am trying to understand all the features included. Got the base model. See that utility tray & wire management are listed, but the console in the front seat is just an empty box. Am I missing something? Does anyone have a picture of the utility tray or wire management? I'm assuming they go in the console? Thanks!
I think that is when you put your phone in front console under shifter, and your USB cable plugs into the storage area under armrest. there is a small little opening where the cable can go thru when armrest is closed to not pinch it. Not really wire management if you ask me.lol Dan

you mean under armrest? I do not have any tray either, i dont think there is a tray with the 12 PiP base. Dan
correct. you can buy one at the parts department or salvage from non pip gen III. the console still has the points to hold it. gen II will not fit.
what does this mean? "console infront of pass seat" you mean glovebox??(upper or lower) we are talking bout the tray in the armrest compartment, which used to have a sliding type tray last year but now 12s are empty. They still will fit there if you buy one from a 11. Dan
oh, ok, sorry, I never noticed the one in the armrest in my 2010, but had the tray in upper glovebox tho
It's not much, but it works perfectly! On the 2010 console, the lid pinches the cable when it closes.
yeah i had read about the cable pinching, so its a good addition for sure. I do recal the 06 i drove had a plastic shelf that was removable in the upper glove box. dan
