been had my v for a little over a month and probably seen about 7 other v's on the road between central and north jersey
Saw one v a couple days before I bought mine on 6/12, parked in front of an antique store in Annapolis (Clear Sky). Actually pulled in to talk to the owner. Then a week after buying mine, I get an email from my old neighbor that he bought one. Our two-GII's parked in the drive next to his lo those many years I lived next to him must have rubbed off. So, herewith, 2 of at least 3 vee's in the Annapolis area: I believe cee's are "nocturnal" and very difficult to spot in the wild.
I have a red v and was told that they are rare in northern California. I saw two identical to mine yesterday, one of which was right in front of me in a parking lot. I laughed as a little girl on the sidewalk looked astonished and first pointed at the car in front and then at mine...I was thinking the same thing... No c's in the last week.
Prius v's are quite popular here in new York now, at least in Queens. Haven't seen too many c's and have not seen another plug in at all.
The driver of a Prius v tried to run me off the road on my commute this morning. She was too busy talking on her cell phone to see what was going on around her. It's only the second one I've seen here.
We drove down to Spokane on July 2 2012 and saw a blue ribbon met. coming out of a mall. During our trip we also saw atleast 20 -25 regular Prii.
When we bough ours 6+ weeks ago, we had the only one in our 10K person town. Now there are at least 3 others. I see at least a couple on my 50-mile commute every day too. But we are in CA and I think we get a fair portion of the supply. Still have only seen one other with ATP...
2 so far. 1 at the dealer about 6 months ago and a white one yesterday as I was walking across the bridge into town. Not from around here. No c's at the dealer for a long time either. Imev's have moved on too. Dealer traded not sold.
Saw my first white v on the road here in central jersey. I think that's a total of 8 so far. Saw a couple of c's too. All since I bought my v back in may.
I saw another v in the wild, dark blue with Alabama plates. (It is not like anyone else in Mississippi has one)
Only seen one "non taxi v" so far in my travels around the Edmonton area. Seen one c in my small city of spruce grove. Almost daily I see gen 2 or gen 3 Prius Liftbacks. Wandering off topic, but I actually saw a chevy volt about a month ago passing through Spruce Grove, first and last one i've ever seen in the wild.
I live in Toronto, Ontario and I've only seen 3 or 4 since I bought mine back in July. Ironically, a co-worker bought one over the summer as well and it's even the same color. I'm seeing lots of Prius hatchbacks though. And I saw a Prius C in August. The "V" is still a little rare at the moment up here in Canada. I think that will change though. I'm enjoying mine! And the fuel savings!
Yesterday, a Prius v taxicab pulled up next to me. The cab driver saw my v and gave me a thumbs up. It was pretty cool.
I've seen two in the last month. Today I drove alot and saw FIVE Prius V's. The last once was a sunset and the Blizzard Pearl paint was out of this world. What glare...!
Well its good to know my my v is so visible to the point of blinding others. Better than having one of those invisible gray/silver cars. Funny thing is my last car had bright white paint but that didn't prevent the chevy tahoe behind me trying to run me over at the stop light.
Up in Vancouver BC the majority of taxis have been regular Prius units for years now. Since the V came out, it's been starting to displace them for taxi popularity. I have seen a few non taxi Vs. I find the V and C actually share a similar aesthetic unlike the liftback, so sometimes I think I'm seeing another C out of the corner of my eye and it's actually too big so it's a V. Galaxy Nexus ? 2
