Just picked up a set of Michelin X Radials to replace those lame OEM Integrity skins. Rains a lot in Seattle (suprise) and research suggested the X does as well as the Hydroedge so went that way. Quieter, makes the car feel "heavier" in a nice way, better directional stability, willing to lose 1 or 2 MPGs for better overall tire experience. Costco has filled them to factory spec with Nitrogen (no extra charge) but the Michelins run in the very low 30's (35 front) per legal guidelines. I ran the Integrities at 42 Front, 40 Rear. Has anybody played with the PSI on Michelin X for Prius? Any Magic Zone here? Bob in Seattle
Hi Bob! I don't know the answer to your question, but I am eager to find out how the tires work for you. My wife and I are moving to Seattle this week and I'm considering the exact same tires for the exact same reasons. Let me know how they do with your MPG. Thanks! B)
