We've been reading posts on the board for the three months we waited for our new prius - and we felt really knowledgeable and ready to go when we picked up our silver #4 '06 last Saturday! In two days of driving the 15 miles from the burbs to downtown where I teach high school, I've averaged 55.2 mpg. Whoo-hoo! Don't need to be a math teacher (which I'm definitely NOT) to appreciate that! Just wanted to say thanks to all for the great info you posted prior to our purchase - I'll be back for plenty more as we get used to the prius. So far, so good - now we just need to figure out how one car can accommodate three drivers (one a computer-geek teenage son) who all want to drive it all the time! Many thanks! Peggy
