LED info

I am looking to do this in my Prius C....

What LED bulbs did you use in the mirror? I am assuming you needed to replace all the turn signal bulbs (6) since you put in a new relay? What model bulbs did you use?

Hey managerman. I bought these bulbs from iJDMToy.com. That was four bulbs, two front, two rear. These bulbs came with the resistors but were a bad design (long story). I managed to get the company to send up the flasher unit since the resistor were not going to work. All works fine with the new flasher unit.

The single mirrors I bought a while back and came with LEDs. Which is the reason I wanted to upgrade all the bulbs to LEDs.

 

The blue thing you're focused on is the harness going into the relay I assume? So that comes out and then you work on getting the actual relay out?

 

In my case, the relay was blue and the plug. The picture shows what is left of the relay after I yanked it down (split in two). If I had know about the clip release as circled in the pic, I might have gotten it out in one piece.

There are other 2012 members that have gotten to the relay...
