I have not found a chart or doc that lists that the new hybrid has to be a 2006 model to qualify for the tax credit. Does anyone have anything in writing that the 2005 and 2006 Prius are both qualified? Thx...JGK
They should be on this page when they receive official certification. Toyota.com - Prius Tax Deduction They have not yet received official certification but then again Hell is still quite toasty.
Previous model year vehicles will qualify for the credit as well. Exact credit amount might vary based on weight and EPA MPG.
