I just saw on Motortrend that the 2013 v will be available in Sea Glass Pearl, and the Five package will come with a softex wrapped steering wheel. Can anyone confirm this?
I just picked up 2 2012 Prius v 5's earlier today. Selfishly, I hope there aren't any BIG changes to the 2013 Prius v.
I seriously doubt there'd be any big changes to the v for MY13 given the 1st model year was 2012. I'd imagine there might be a mid-year refresh in MY14. Hopefully they can give it a slight boost in mileage to be more competitve w/Ford's offerings...
I have to say we've come a long way. When I first joined PriusChat, there is no way I ever imagined I would be reading a post suggesting it would be a good idea for Toyota to do something to increase a Prius' fuel economy in order to be more competitive with anyone -- much less an American auto maker. I understand we are talking about the Prius v and not the flagship Prius, but it still is good news that there are real competitors out there. If we can just find a way for the technology to advance to the point of providing propulsion for more family cars at family prices . . ..
The only 2013 changes are the sea glass color. I had not noticed the change to the wheel for the package 5. It may be.
Oooooh, the Sea Glass might solve my color dilemma. Dianne is there any word on whether it will be tied to a particular package level?
Any of the packages will get sea glass and at this time, all three interior colors look available too. I love this color - it's the color of my own PlugIn!
Thanks for the info! It looks like a lovely color. The current line all kind of fall in the too dark or too light categories for my tastes.
