Ever since June, when we purchased our Prius Plug-in, I have been collecting web site bookmarks. I have gained a few and thought it might be useful to share them. You need to do just one thing after you download it to your computer. (assuming you can see extensions on your documents (ie test.txt .txt means it is a text file). You will need to change the .txt extension to .html. Once you do that you simply double click on that file and your web browser will show you the list of bookmarks. An easier way maybe is when your download window is open just change the extension name from Plug in Bookmarks.txt to Plug in Bookmarks.html. That way it will save it on your computer in the correct format. Then just open that file and you have the bookmarks. I wish I could paste the links. I tried that. The list apparently is bigger than Priuschat will accept. I got a time out error when I tried that. Also, Priuschat would not accept a HTML file to upload. So, that is why I uploaded a text file version which, on a Windows computer would easily be changed to a HTML file by merely changing the extension from .txt to .html. Did anyone try it on a windows computer? This wasn't meant to be used on a phone.
Did you save it to your computer? Did you find it? If so, merely change the extension from .txt to .html. Double click on it and away you go.
You're welcome. Hope you find the links at least interesting. I just wish I had thought through the potential issues this idea would create. I never thought someone would try to do this on a phone, for example. Next time I will put more thought into it.
