Does anyone know of an aftermarket "dog fence" that installs behind the rear seats? Our lab loves the v but he can jump over the back seat and also loves to drool on the back seats. Yuck! Thanks! Dan
Walmart.com: Pets: Dogs: Travel Barriers But if your dog is riding loose, consider a safety harness as well. Ruff Rider | Dog Seatbelts | Car Safety Harnesses and Pet Safety
Concur! Put a child in a car without being bolted to a car seat, and you're a moron and a criminal. Do it with an animal.....and you're a pet owner. If your pooch is that important to you, they make safety harnesses (as stated above) that buckle into the car's seat belt. OK....so let's pretend that you don't really like your K9, or animals in general. It's still 70-something pounds of live, unsecured cargo. If your pooch wants to be in the middle seats, and you get into an accident? Sir Isaac Newton is going to want him in the front seat, and if there is anything in between the cargo bay and the windshield (driver, kids, etc...) things could get a little interesting. Go to GoodWill...buy a couple of sheets. Go to Pet Smart and buy a proper restraint, and then get on with your life. Besides.....the view is better from the passenger compartment! Good Luck!
We put a nice/simple barrier between front seats and drop back seats down flat in our GenIII. All kinds out there. Our dogs love it. Look at the following for ideas: dogkennels.com dogsaroundtowne.com discountramp.com futurepet.com petego.com
Update: I found one at Walmart today for $30 that works great. It was a bit of a bear to setup the first time but once it was in I locked down the settings and can install it about a minute now.
Sorry I just saw the message. Not sure of the brand. It was the only one my local Walmart had for $30. Yes I installed it behind the rear seats.
