For the first time since purchasing my 2012 Prius Four a couple of weeks ago, I was cleaning out the rear cargo area today and saw this laying there (See Attached Image). It is some sort of clear plastic, 2.75" long device that would clip on to a thin layer of material (plastic, metal, etc...?). Does anyone know? -TP
That's a new type of birth control device. You're on your own to discover how it is used and whether it is effective. Good luck ... getting lucky.
That is exactly what it is. It was probably removed when it was prepped by the dealership and left in the car.
Sorry, did not mean to post in side your post. My bad! Dealer here has them on all the doors of new cars to stop door dings!
Mystery solved then. Tach18k wins the prize. Tach, you can come pick up the door ding preventer whenever you wish - TP
Retired4999, I would love to hear the details as to how you averaged 93 MPG on your one tank. It would be a blast to try to accomplish that. My wife and I just got back from dinner and got 69.2 MPG on the way home (60.x going to dinner), and I thought that was awesome. That was the most MPGs I've ever gotten in my life, and I ride motorcycles almost everyday. - TP
Yep! love my PIP. Best tank was 2505 miles 357 mpg. put in 7.o gal's on fill Your doing great! keep up the good work!
Right. Mine still had one on the driver's door when I got it (it was delivered by AAA buying service). I left it on for a while, but finally decided it looked pretty goofy.
