I installed the Wet Okele seatcovers for my front seats. These are made especially for the Prius c to allow deployment of the seat airbags. They are neoprene (hence waterproof) and can be wiped down with a wet cloth. This was to dog proof my car. They look great and are a fairly close match for the car's upholstery. They were difficult for me to install because my fat hands don't fit well under the limited space between the seats and the floor. I ordered the drivers seat with inflatable lumbar support: squeeze the rubber bulb to inflate, push the valve to deflate. I am pretty happy with these seatcovers.
Oh I love those! Just what I've been looking for! IF the price is right I will pick me a set up! Where did you get them?
Wetokele.com They are a bit pricey $250 without the lumbar support , but better than having muddy wet paws trash my new car. Wet okele gets pretty good reviews from its customers. Order through the link for prius (they didn't have the c listed yet) and in the comments make sure you tell them it is for the c. They just received the new pattern recently for the c's seats and called me to confirm that it was a c and not the regular liftback.
sorry that link doesn't work. try this one: Car Seat Covers | Seat Covers | Custom Seat Covers | Truck Seat Covers | Automotive Seat Covers
Help from Hawaii - just a slight misspelling - "okole" is correct - in the url. Those covers look great - we got two dogs who love to go riding. Both our cars basically have no rear passenger seats as the back is devoted to the dogs.
They look great! Looks like a good way to get heated/upgraded seat material without purchasing the 4. Were you able to install them without removing the seats from the car?
yes, but it wasn't easy due to the limited space between the seat bottom and the floor and the car wiring underneath. It took me about a half hour for each seat and I had to keep sliding the seat back and forth to access the tie down straps for the covers
i ordered two for about $320...including lumbar and rear pockets. I am having them installed there on Saturday. I had them on my last Prius and they were great. Advice...spend money on the cleaner. I didn't on the last ones and they got pretty dirty. I'm going to keep this set clean.
how's the lumbar support? been really wanting to get something for the car but haven't found anything that fits right with regards to lumbar support... also been wanting to add heated seats to my car so this *COULD* be a great solution - a little pricey for sure... but may be worth it
oh another question - how do the seat covers 'feel' - can you tell it apart from the OEM seats? does it fit snug? for those who purchased with the heated seats - is it a two stage heat? or simply on-off? i assume you just plugged in to the 12V adapter to use? t
lumbar support works well. very snug fit on the seats. looks slightly different than OEM because they are neoprene
Heated seats are internally wired with L & R switches between the seats. They don't get "plugged in." Heat cycles to maintain a constant temperature and heat up quickly. Great in winter.
