Does anyone know the part # for the Nav used in the Advanced (86120-47390 ?) I really don't like the buried menus/features in the Base models nav (and the loss of the split screen which I got used to in my last car) and am thinking of upgrading if it would be a plug and play without loosing any of the voice activated features. Any thoughts?

if you were to drop the advanced nav system into the base model would you be able to get all the additional entune stuff?

Personally, I could care less about entune. I don't use it now. It does not make my driving "experience" easier. Split screen does, hard keys for functions do, larger screen so I can see easier does, etc. Having to dig through menus while driving is frustrating and potentially dangerous.

I can get it for less than $900. It will fit. Question is will it work properly.

I know this is a very old thread, but did anybody figure out if the head unit wiring harness is the same on a PIP Base and Advanced?

    Thanks!

I'd love to know the same thing. I'd like to upgrade the headunit in this car, but only if it maintains compatibility with the existing functions of the current unit (steering wheel controls, Entune services, integration with the car, etc).
