Does anyone have a pic (or link to a pic) with the 2012 black rims without the covers? I personally hate the latest wheel covers and am just curious what's underneath.
To each their own, but I don't like the look of the stock 2012 15" wheels without the covers. The one change from 2011 to 2012 I would hit the dislike button on! LOL Toyota IMHO was loosing money on upgrades for those that wanted to ditch the caps...
thanks. they look pretty much like mine, except black. I think they would look good on black or dark grey prii. I cannot understand why they are making these god-awful wheel choices. gen 2 without covers is the best wheel they have done IMO.
They look nice on the White..... Question: Where did you get the chrome stip that runs across the bottom of the doors, or did it come on the car??
Toyota sells it. They call it a "body side molding". But its just a silver plastic strip. I ordered "body side moldings" with the car and that is what the dealer provided. I think it is the same thing Toyota shows on the website when you shop and add options. I wanted real body side moldings and some people on Prius Chat had ordered RAV4 bsm's which were true color and provided nice area of protection so I got them and put them on also.
