Does anybody know what the best size wheel and tire set up is for a prius when getting into such a big size as 20"??
Your question will probably better received in the Gen3 Mods and Accessories forum. The wheel fitment will be the same as a regular Gen3. Having said that, I dont think I've seen anyone with 20" wheels on a Prius.. 19s occasionally, 18s fairly frequently, mostly 17s though..
I got these in 19". Put a wider stance in the rear. I will post pics this week, should look killer! 20's just is too big!
I got the forged ones in hopes they would be lighter.. Do you know what the stock wheel weight is? The afermarket wheels are about 21lbs.
20s are too big for the Prius from an aesthetic standpoint and you'll pretty much kill your mpg and EV range but if you are happy with it then more power too ya. I agree with the others, pics are in order.
What other vehicles do you own Jimbo69ny ? How do you get an illuminated shifter? Did that come with the Advanced?
I had a 04 tundra and a 08 prius but I traded both of them in on the 12 pip. Yes its advanced but the reason I have the illuminated shift knob is because I made it. Pretty easy. Parts only cost a couple bucks.
Hi Jimbo, is there a site that shows how to make it. The way that it looks, it looks like it should illuminate already. That's cool. Yes my wife and I had 6 cars now down to 4. Too much shuffling around even though we have a three car garage it was such a pain. So I traded her 97' SL 500 convertible, and my 06' Civic Hybrid for the PiP base in Blizzard Pearl. I thought of getting the advanced but it's only a commuter car to go back and forth to L.A. from O.C. Now we are down to 2011 S4, 2010 Q7 TDI, 2003 BMW 540i, and the PiP.
Yo - Breit, is that a Breitling on your wrist? I sport a Breitling too! Galactic, Rose Gold, chocolate face. I don't see many around. Nice!
