I tested a Prius Standard few years ago and it had a "wooden" feel. Other reviewers said thing. This was fixed in Camry hybrid I read. Does latest Prius V have this "problem" or was fixed?
Probably ought to test drive one. It's certainly the best driving Prius yet. So what model Camry do you have now?
The Camry and Prius V both have electric power steering now. It's more about weight, tires and mechanical design on how the tracking and feel are in a car. The Prius V is really good compared to earlier generations. May not be a sports tracker and as such the Camry SE wins in that area. Which is part of the reason they are selling as many Camry SEs as the standard model Camry these days, especially to non-fleet buyers. The Prii spank the gas only Camry on gas mileage big time. So if you put 20k a year on a car, a Prius is a smart choice.
