power comes on at dusk 8:30PM, Checked at 9:20PM : 11.78 AMPS 1.32Kwatt Apartment management found out I was charging without letting him know. I told him I will record Kwatts used tonight and multiply days since since April 23, 2012. I am going to check with DTE to see how much they charge for electricity.

that sounds just about right. we pay .16/kwh so a charge costs me around .50-.55.

Today I went to see my landlord. He agreed to charge me $15.00 a month to charge my car in my parking spot at my apartment. I told him not now, because the ChargePoint location a mile away is free. I told him I would let him know if I change my mind and decide to charge my car in my apartment parking spot.

Charging losses will be less at 240V.

You can upgrade your charging cable and get an electrician to install a 240V outlet. Cost $ but your car would charge in 1/2 the time and with better efficiency. You might make it back in time.

Already checked that out. I don't have $1,900.00 and the parking spot I would need to be next to the "upgraded" station has been assigned to some one else. (the landlord asked me if I wanted that spot, I told him no because I don't have the aforementioned $1,900.00) The parking spot's are the one pictured in my avatar. (110volt) The other parking spot is next to the DTE meter.
