What could Toyota do to improve customer satisfaction? For starters, how about not forcing buyers in the SE US to pay for unwanted accessories and services at gross inflated prices without having to travel out of the SE Toyota distributor franchise territory. Would'nt it to be nice and only fair for Toyota customers to be able to purchase genuine Toyota factory extended warranty at their local Toyota dealership. This is of particular interest and would give peace of mind to many Prius buyers.

You ask one general question in the title, another general question in the body, then answer an entirely different question that only applies to one small area of the world.

Mr Toyoda does not work in the SE US region, there is little he can do there. Dealers are 'protected' from manufacturers by US law, he can do NOTHING at a local level. Deciding to make a Prius v PHV, now that he can influence! (but not control, as the space has have been designed to be there)

Im not suggesting that this problem is with the dealers but he can eliminate distributors that are not acting in the best interests any of which are Toyota, Toyota dealers and Toyota customers. Don't tell me Toyota has no control over the distribution of their products. Problems that exist between Toyota buyers and Toyota dealerships are another matter.

Offer more options on the cars. Allow people to buy DRL's, Auto-on-off headlights, power seats, solar sun roof on PIP, nice 15" alloy wheels, more option flexibility.

Dealer and the car are both great for me but so were my Ford dealer and Escape Hybrid.

all mfg's care about is how much product their dealers are selling. that's what they give them awards for. sales.
