seen the threads on HID upgrades but, what do we do about the high beems?

Leave the high beams alone.....there is no need to change them. Putting HIDs or anything else would be a complete waste of money.

The 2012 bumper has the mounting tabs build into the bumper. All u need to do is change the grill to the grill that has the fog openings.

I agree with sfv41901. The high beams are already full frontal projection so an HID kit does nothing but make it a bit brighter. HOWEVER, most of the time I just flash them because of oncoming cars having their high beams on or the idiot in front of me is blocking the fast lane driving super slow. If you are a high beam flasher, the HID kit is the WORST thing to do. HID's take time to fire up and a quick pulse will barely to anything but burn your ballast and bulb out. However, if you want HID's for high beam, I suggest you retrofit with a bi-level zenon. Basically what that does is flip the cutoff plate so the light acts like a high beam.

Now if you want a set of working fog lights that are better than anything you have ever used in the past, what you want is an HID projector running a yellow HID bulb. Why do you ask? The point of fog light is to illuminate the road but not illuminate into the fog which will reflect back to your eyes. The cutoff will help however you will be one of the small few that has done it due to the cost.
