:lol: I was able to pick up my new blue prius last night. It's soooooo pretty. I bought it 150 miles from home and drove it...going 74mph on the freeway I averaged 43 mpg! I'm happy. that's 3 times the milage of my suburban I just gave up. I've got to get used to the quiet...everytime I stop at a stop sign or red light I think it's died because it's in stealth mode. Thanks to those of you who suggested how to get one...I found that going to GA and buying from a Toyota region that has more increased my chances dramatically of getting exactly what I wanted. Congrats to both of you! Deb, seems you're a new member---welcome!---Susan, not so new, but just a few posts. PC has a strong female presence (over 30% in a poll we did), and I hope you'll add to it. I, too, have blue (most popular color in yet another poll, at least for PCers, probably replacing silver as #1) ordered. Can't wait to ask my wife to make a face at me in my rear camera, so she can be an MFD star! :blink: :lol:
I got my 2006 seaside pearl blue prius (package 7) on January 1st. A gadget lover's paradise, especially the Sirius Radio, Backup Camera, Navigation, Bluetooth, and voice activated commands. Three different people tested the voice commands, one from the back seat, and they all worked!
My seaside pearl is on its way. I have the VIN number and am ready to pick it up on the 14th. After waiting so long, its finally in sight!
I'm in also. My dealer called today and said my blue package 5 would arrive in about three weeks. Ordered in September, but told him I wanted to wait for a 2006 after Jan 1 delivery. Off to reseach snow tires now.
