Hello all, I have a 2010 Insight which was vandalized, and totaled by my ins company, so I have been looking into what hybrid I will buy, and I have decided to get a Prius C. I am picking it up today actually. I have been lurking around this forum for a week or so, and this is my first post. I am picking up a C4, Habanero in color, with many mods to come!
Congrats! I have seen a Habanero in person as well and it is definitely a head turner!! Can't wait for the pics!

After my Insight was totaled, I was thinking about getting another one, but for basically the same price, I get soft tech seats, push button start, and 10 more mpg, so thats what did it for me
I hear that the AC in an Insight turns off when the car stops as well... is that true? I read that in some review and it's one reason I went for the Prius C instead. Regardless, congrats on the new car and welcome
if you have it in ECO mode, the AC does shut off when the car stops, I hated that because basically all summer long I had to keep ECO mode off
I do a mixture of city and hwy driving, and I always seemed to get 40 mpg, I dont do a whole lot of driving, about 300 miles per week, so filling up less than once per week is pretty nice compared to my Nissan Rogue that got about 20mpg!
Welcome! I would be curious to hear how your mileage compares to your Insight over identical commutes, after you've gotten through your 1st or 2nd tank of gas...
