extended warranty good idea?

    Dealership underlined what is covered under their limited warranty and what isn't...should I buy extended warranty ? If not from the dealer from whom? Thanks

    If the extended warranty is a good deal for the buyer then why do you want to buy the car?

    No. Extended warranties make money for the seller, not the buyer. Put the $1000 in the bank.

    It's an insurance policy just like any other. Do what you feel is right.

    Also you can search the forum for info, I'm sure this will just turn into another dealer bashing thread soon.
