Average Age Of Prius c Owners

30, gay male, single, living in an East Vancouver BC apartment and commuting only 14 km to an industrial park in South Burnaby where the transit leaves much to be desired. Would be my first car aside from when I drove my parents' old beater as a teenager. Always been a transit/bike/car share/walk guy but when a 45 minute transit commute can unexpectedly become 70, suddenly a 27-minute drive becomes very appealing. Considering the Prius C very seriously. This week I am driving an orange Prius C base model from Modo the Car Co-op to test out if I like this car (CDN base model = USA Prius C Two). There's about 2000 km on the vehicle already.

It's very very orange, wow. If it were a slightly darker metallic orange like I see on some Kia models, I'd totally be up for it, but not this orange. So I'd probably be looking at the blues or greys.

 

21, no kids, first car I've ever bought. Drove my parents vehicles before!

 

will get mine in three days. I'm 42 male, married, no children. It's replacing a 99 Mazda Miata.

 

29, Male traded in my 2012 Mustang GT . Wanted something with better MPG's because I used the stang as my daily driver. I lost the need for speed awhile ago all it does is give me anxiety now, can't afford to get in trouble anymore

43. Single. Other gas-powered vehicle is a Harley Nightster. Star Trek Fan.

 

My bride and I are working professionals, no kids, I am 53 and lets just say she is younger ) I will be retiring in less than three yrs after 35 plus years with the gov. I have owned Toyota vehicles since 89 when I purchaed my first new 4x4, a great truck.

We recently traded an 09 Yaris (great car) in on our C. The C3 is a much nicer car than the Yaris IMHO, more fun to own and drive, moonroof & leather, much nicer sound system, and the 50 mpg plus is the chocolate icing adds fun to the commute. We were introduced to the Prius by my Mom who owns a 08 model. We drove it a few times during a visit and we decided to look into owning one and purchased a C.

Vehicles in the stable;

2012 C3--50 mpg plus- commuter
2010 Tacoma D/C--18-19 mpg- a keeper, gotta have a truck (blueberry growing hobby on the side)
2004 Honda Accord--31 mpg- will be replaced by a second new Prius C or full size Prius.

2011 BMW R1200 Adventure--43 mpg average
2012 Suzuki 650 Adventure--50 mpg average

 

25, single, no kids (just a small dog) replaced 1998 VW New Beetle. This is my first brand new car purchase!

 

31 male, married, 8 month old daughter that drives with me on my 60 mile commute to work (one way). My daycare is right by my job. Thankfully, she is totally content on sitting in the car for an hour at a time.

Replaced a BMW 328xi that rode like a truck, got 25 mpg and was the most boring gray color you can imagine.

45, single, 2 dogs. I got this because I was using a 2006 Ford Super Duty diesel as a daily driver for going 140 miles round trip to work. I am keeping the truck for pulling my travel trailer. This car is amazing. It reminds me of a smaller version of my 2003 Matrix that I loved.
