OK, on the Advanced with have LED headlights and LED running lights, but ugly yellow fog lights. I had the JDM mirrors installed and they look great, but I dread even turning on the fog lights as I have these nice white LEDS all over, then yellow fogs. What can I replace those with so they match?
Can I just replace the bulbs or does it need a new assembly? Trying to do searches, but they are returning with folks looking to add them.
Hmm, seems like I may be answering my own question. I found these. Since I have the fogs already installed I should just be able to replace the bulbs with LED H11 bulbs. Not sure about color matching. I put 6000 LEDs in the interior, and they seem to match the JDM mirror lights well. 120 LED Car Fog Parking Head Light Cold White 12V Vehicle New H11 SMD 3528 | eBay
I ordered mine yesterday and they shipped today. Less than $10 with free shipping, what could go wrong (China?). Calvin
Keep me in the loop on how these work out for you. I am interested in getting them to match, its just down on my list for a bit.
What's wrong with yellow fog lights? Some people actually change out the OEM fog light bulbs to get a yellow light, which is more effective in actual fog or heavy rain. OK, so you want your fog lights to match your headlights...
Yes, you are right about yellow fog lights being more effective but the bulbs in the Plug-in fog lights are just white with a yellow cast. Kind of in the middle between the LED and the real yellow fog light bulbs. I think I will get some yellow bulbs and see how they look and how much more effective they are in the fog. Calvin
Which JDM mirrors and who wired them for you? How much did it cost for installation if you paid someone else? Thanks! Ron
I have yellow HID foglight bulbs that I had in my previous car but i'm thinking of replacing them with LED's cause they're brighter than my HID headlights..(turn the road all yellow)
