    I upgraded my OS to 1.53 finallay.thanks for all support.
    Regarding my sound issue, I saw on the first page that starting from MCU 9.02, sound issue are solved.

    How can I upgrade my MCU ? I'm really suffering on this sound issue, specially with Phone bluetooth (sound quality very very bad)

    Hey this is for Prius only.
    MCU is specific to your hardware; the MCU firmwares posted at the beginning WILL NOT work on non-Prius cars.

    Hi can anyone give me the link for 1.53 and 1.5 wince updates. Sorry i just can't find it on this forum. I have 1.51 in my system. Also pls tell me what's the different between the 1.53 and 1.5 versions?

    Yes I got it is for Prius only.

    But is there any way to have it for my Unit also ? I's really suffering in this sound quality, very difficult to enjoy Bluetooth call...

    if MCU is link with Hardware, I guess have to exist updated version of the MCU, no ?

    Yes, MCU is the firmware specific to the unit AND the car.
    The MCU controls the basic hardware functions for the unit but it is also configured for a particular car.
    So that's why you need to stick with the official MCUs.
    Trying a MCU not made for your combination of car and unit could actually brick your unit...
    Meaning the unit would not respond anymore and it would become impossible to flash it again.

    So be careful! Always make sure it is the right MCU for your unit.

    The best thing to do in your case is to try to find one either through internet or ask the dealer directly.

    my dealer is toyota itself so forget.....lol
    When I told them, the same unit is available on the world, they told me no, this is private unit for Toyota...
    Thy will not help me in this I think.

    I need to find a way to search for official MCU.

    But for my unit, I know only the data provided:
    Your unit is brand "Roadrover", model "C7047T1"​
    Car DVD Navigation System,Car GPS Navigation System,China Car DVD Navigation System Manufacturer​

    But now how to reach offcial MCU, how to search for it...-((​

    Do you think they wouldn't help, or do you know they wouldn't ?
    For me that's a VERY interesting information, that a Toyota dealer is selling genuine Roadrover in dash units. Where is that dealer from ?

    About MCU Update: As Bulle already declared, evry MCU software MUST match the unit exactly. OS (WinCE) and GUI (graphical user interface) are usable for all same type of units. One MCU software (identified by its cryptical serial number) is usable only for one unit (model number).

    Toyota have accessories here in KSA, and after buying car, you can add navigation unit and camera.
    Then I got it like that, and in front of me I have commercial vendor for Toyota.
    I already sbmit to them my sound issue and they are replying: no the sound is good....we cannot do anything, it is like this !

    And I don't know who is providing to Toyota KSA those units.

    Yes I understood the MCU, and so I conclude there is MCU for C7047T1 unit, right? not specially the unit I have.....
    And no I have to find the MCU update for C7047T1 model....

    I tried to search on google with my MCU firmware 8.047TT6H7HN8R, but only one reply that is this topic...

    Do you think there are some other ways to find something ? is there any tool in the unit or to be add to know more about the MCU ? may be it will give me some additional informations for searching.....

    Try to ask R-connect. Tell them the exact number of your MCU firmware and ask for an update to upgrade your unit C7041T1 to run i9 GUI. I know they must request at Roadrover but if you're lucky you'll get it.

    Unfortunately they refused to support me as I didn't buy my unit with them -((

    Update: I sent email to maria from Road Rover...let's see if they will feedback.

    Maria is sales director world. Roadrover is a manufacturer and didn't support customers. This is dealers responsibility. That's why I recommended to ask r-concept.

    The UI shell is probably using only the TrueType font file arialrr_1_08.ttf in StaticStore\I9\Fonts.
    The other fonts file in this folder are used for the normal Windows dialogs.
    I never tried to overwrite that file but it will probably work.
    That should affect everything in the shell UI.
    There is no way to specify different font for each field I think unless you hack Manager.exe.

    Hi guys,
    thank you all for this thread. But I need some more help, please. ;)

    I do not own a Prius (as I would) but I have a Cruze with RoadRover Unit inside. I have old version and I would like to know if I can update my MCU to the new "hybrid" g1/g2 in order to get new I9 folder and use news skins.

    I already tried to use I9 folder without success. (visualization was good but no audio or playing files)

    MCU Update tools says i have no "radio" unit because this Road Rover Unit uses original radio system, Road Rover unit is interfaced with original car audio through AUX connector. I enclose all screenshots taken. Thanks in advance for your help.

    I really don't know if an MCU update is available for this unit C7032CC. Pls ask your dealer to request at Roadrover. And please notice: All dealers are responsible for customer support ! I know there is a big dealer at Italy Milano.
