Did any of you receive some sort of folder to hold all of the Owners Maunals and paperwork at delivery? I tried to make this a Poll but couldn't figure out how to enter each choice. If you know how to turn this into a poll I would really just like to know: 1. Yes - received a Toyota folder. 2. Yes - but not sure it is from Toyota. 3. No - didn't get anything to hold all the books. We did not receive any sort of folder for all the books. This has happened to us only once before at a VW dealer and when I pressed he explained that the dealership has to buy them to give to their customers and his dealer decided not to buy them. Mine came with one. Black leather, with a small metal toyota symbol shaped like the HSD symbol. magnetic closure too.
Mine was a small black folder the same page size as the manual but not thick enough to hold everything. It holds the general manual and the Nav system manual OK so I keep it in the lower glove box but I keep all the other papers in my office. This folder is almost identical to the one I got with a VW car I bought a few years ago.
I received a leather binder to hold my manuals and papers and business cards when I took delivery on my 2006 Prius. I don't know if this was included because of where I bought the car or because of the package NW8 on the car.
I got a gray plastic folder with slots for business cards with no insignia at all. No mugs or anything like that. I was surprised not to see some kind of warranty card; my Jetta came with one. The dealership didn't really make much of a pitch for their service department. I think they know that people are shopping around for the best price and will then use the dealer that is closest for the post-sale service. Which in my case is a bad assumption to make as they are located only a couple of miles from where I work.
Mine came with a nice faux-leather Toyota Logo zipper binder that had vinyl pages with slots for all the various manuals, inserts, cards, etc.
I just picked up my new 2005 silver pkg #6 and yes I got a nice leather case with the Toyota name and logo on it. It reminds me of a nice zippered cover for my bible. Of course the info within is the bible for my new Prius.
I got a paper folder, a little bit heavier than a manilla envelope, but with a large flap. It held all the stuff. It's from the dealer.
i got an envelope with everything in it and a special thing to hold the registration, insurance and stuff... also got a pen, several business cards, a Prius hat (special favor from my saleman...he got one for going through training but never was a hat guy and since i was one of the first to get the new 04 and waited soooo long for it) and a calendar... then again... may have gotten the calendar as an Xmas Present while waiting for my Prius to arrive...dont remember now but certain i got it way before the car came since 2004 was more than half over before it arrived.
I got a zippered kit with the manuals and warranties in it. Black leatherette. It fits perfectly in the slot at the front of the lower glovebox. I also keep the service records in it.
It's up to the dealer, and mine was cheap-- a plastic bag. I ordered a nice zippered leatherette case online, and it fits in the nack slot of the lower glove compartment. Holds all manuals, cards, warrantee, etc.
Mine didn't come with anything so I bought something like this. It's black faux leather with a red Toyota logo and it zips three quarters of the way around. The manual sorta fits and I I put some things in the vinyl pockets but they don't fit perfectly. I found it online on sale so I bought two. The other one I use as a first aid kit; I bought things at the drug store, took out the vinyl insert and put them in there. They are both in the lower glove box. The one with the manual fits well in the back pocket area, the "first aid kit" I have just laying in the glove box with my swiffer on top. I bought mine from Kendalltoyotapartsonline.
