So on 6/21/12 I purchased a C4 in black with the moon roof. I was unable to haggle with the price and paid sticker. So far I am loving the car. I haven't had a car in about 7 years, and used my wife's 2004 Civic Hybrid when I did need to drive. The Toyota system seems light years ahead of her 2004 HCH. I did have an issue 24 hours into owning the C, there was a screw in the front tire and it had to be replaced. None of the Toyota dealers around me stock the stock 175/65R15 Goodyears. So I had to order it Friday afternoon for a Monday install. After that the alignment was off, but had that fixed. So far to date, I have installed a 1.25" hitch (Eckharts) ($311) Tinted the Windows today ($749) Put 3M film on all 11 windows..*3M Crystalline 40 an the front doors*3M Crystalline 70 on the Windshield and Moon Roof (Clear)*3M CS5 Color Stable on the read doors and hatch (Limo) Removed the Prius C and Hybrid Synergy Drive emblems from the rear.

Dopey5007; sorry to hear the dealer wasn't willing to budge. Here in Sacramento the C4's are at least 1500 off msrp. I got c3 $2100 off. I am too tall to have a sunroof so we stuck with the three. Have fun! Love the bike rack. We want to do that modd as well but funds are a bit tight right now. Cya l8r
Congrats! C with a bike - kinda appropriate.... Yeah I had to do the same on the tire - had a utility knife blade in rear tire thread - hole/gash too big to fix. Ordered on a Thursday - came in Saturday but had to wait till Monday as the service department only works half a day on Saturdays.
Your car looks really nice . Hey could you tell me how you removed the two badges in the rear? I think i would like to do that as well, seeing that there arent any holes under the badges. Do you think it would be okay if i removed them although my car is just a lease?
I used fishing line to break the double sided film up, then they fell right off. Rubbed the rest of it off with my fingers and a micro fiber towel. About the lease, I don't know. I never leased a car so I don't know the rules, but I don't think you can modify the car at all.

You might want to check your lease paper work. Tint is easy to remove, the hitch may not be if welded. They may charge you extra when you turn it in due to your modifications
We leased our C as well. Charges would only be assessed based upon damage to the car. You have an allowance of $1500 of repairable damage to the car know as normal wear and tear. A trailer hitch and tint are not damage. You wont get any money back on those items but you won't be charged for them either as long as you trade the car in on a new one or sell it yourself. If you give it back to Toyota it's 50/50.
Wow, really like the hitch. Can only see the receiver, so very stealthy. Do they bolt in or are they welded.
