I filled up yesterday for the first time. I've been driving on dealer gas for 3 weeks. The info display said 57 mpg, calculations showed 58 mpg for the 536 miles. I'm happy. JD
The Honda was a great car. Much more high-end inside. Quality all the way. It is taking me some adjustment to getting used to all the plastic in the C. I regularly got low 50's mpg on the Honda, on the Interstate mid 50's. The IMA is a good system, but their battery management is far below the Prius. The 1300 engine was great. I really like my C though. It is a lot different learning to maximize it for efficiency, but I'm learning. I am glad to have owned both. JD
50mpg for the HCH is awesome. I traded in an HCH that was only getting 30-35mpg because i do mainly city driving. I do miss the nicer interior and smoother drive on the highway, but I don't miss the city mileage; the C actually makes stop and go traffic kinda fun. And so much easier to park.
