So you're a billionaire and someone gives you a car, but if you're skint like me nobody gives you zip.
But if they gave you one. what free press and markeing would they get. Toyota did it for themselves, not for the prince.. They want to use his status for marketing purpose. See we are talking about it.. so it kinda worked.
Unless I missed something, I don't see anything in the article that actually says Toyota gave him the car. It could just be that being Prince allowed him to be first in line.
It said they gave it to him for his personal use. But he only gets to keep it for two months. It's a loan.
Maybe you could convince Toyota that you could help them market the Prius as a reliable, hard-working, long-lasting car if they just loaned you one for a couple of years...
I don't think stating that he is using it for "private purposes" is relevant. It is simply indicating it is not used for business or state purposes. I do see what you mean about the two month loan, however. I originally thought it was some weird car financing loan structure I wasn't familiar with, but a more reasonable interpretation is that Toyota loaned him a Prius Plug-in for two months. I would still argue that Toyota giving him a car is overstating it.
I printed out that article yesterday and showed it around - a car fit for the Prince of Monaco. I wonder how many times he'll actually drive it.
Should be all EV in Monaco.. proably cannot go more than half a mile without finding a public charging station Monaco is just 0.75 square miles yet as 435 charging stations. My state of CO is 104,185 sq.miles and has maybe 20 public stations.
