I was tired of the thing fires up the headlights when I pull into my garage, stop under a bridge, using the banks' drive thru, or driving in the woods, in broad day night. The LEDs are not as prone to failure to repeated start / stops compared to halogen / HIDs but still annnoying. Setting it to 1 seems to do the trick. I will see if it waits too late to turn them on at dusk.
I am enjoying the more sensitive lights.....my previous car, a 2003 maxima, would not come on right away and some times unless it was really dark....sometimes would have to turn on lights manually.
My little brain just failed to connect the picture with the original post. Are you talking about the auto leveling sensor? I was talking about the auto on off sensor. At any rate, at 1, it work well last evening at dusk. My lights came on when I would manually turn them on. I guess the sensitivity needed to be lower, with my window tint.
Probably because the picture had nothing at all to do with the original post. It had to do with an entirely different thread. So sorry for posting in the wrong place. Please ignore.
With car in ON mode (ACC won't do), hit the SETUP button on the Nav, touch VEHICLE, touch CUSTOMIZATION, go under LIGHTS... You can also change the door lock settings in there.
You do have to reboot the car after the change for it to take effect. I did it in my garage, the lights stayed on until I rebooted.
any idea how to enable auto on function on model 3. I have sensor hooked up and panel lights dim in the dark but headlights wont come on...
