I just went out to the garage and snapped a quick pic of one of the fender signals! P1030129.JPG
You can get them on eBay. BMW CRYSTAL FENDER "8" LED Side Marker Lights - SMOKE | eBay
That's where I got my 2 pairs (had them taken apart when I had my headlights and other exterior lights customized, and one of the first pair cracked when they were taking them apart.....so I had to buy another set). I assume the seller can sell/get more (I notice it says 'no longer available'). Here's the seller's eBay member page: eBay My World -

I have to go pick it up at the body shop and do something with it! In the past, I just let the places keep them, but then I learned that they just turn around and sell them, so I figured I might as well hold onto it as them! lol What use would u have for it?

These lights worked perfectly for the hybrid emblem locations. Like I said, there's a big circle right in the middle, which the light covers, then there's another smaller "guide hole" toward the door seam that the chrome part of the fixture covers. These are lights from a BMW, tho, and they have a contraption on the back of them that you have to shave off and then seal over so that they sit flush on our cars. That electrical contraption on the back of the fixtures must recess down into the body of the BMW cars. Anyhow, you just shave it off and you're left with a red and black wire afterward to hook up. Examples of what kind of "contraption" I'm talking about on the back of the lighting fixtures:

I have no idea how a person would ever mail an entire front bumper, would be the only issue.
Other than that, there's no issue. I really don't want to store it. I already got my bedroom sitting room piled with a hundred boxes of "stock" things I took off the car. I had a friend ask me the other day if I was moving out or something, cause that's what it looks like. Then maybe you can "help me out" (;) ) if you ever make a speaker enclosure for the other side of our rear hatch!

Is the bumper actually cracked or just scratched, if scratched it can be easily repaired, even if its cracked its usually an easy repair, no need for a completely new bumper that your going to have to repaint anyway.

So im thinking the lights are the way to go on the side markers, do you think you could take those lights apart, basically get the chrome piece off so you could paint it?

yes. the chrome "bar" on each one is a separate piece. It just kinda snaps onto each of the lights.

Here's 2 pictures to help you visualize it better. First one shows the 2 parts to the turn signal. The 2nd one shows the back of one after the contraption was shaved off the back, the hole was sealed, and then 3M tape was applied for it to be adhered to the car. Needless to say, the wires will go right thru that big round hole in the fender that was under the hybrid decal.

Like I mentioned previously, I had to order 2 sets since one of the first ones got cracked when they were trying to open it up to modify the lighting inside. The first set had a MUCH smaller contraption on the back. The contraption on the back of each light in the 2nd set was at least 2x the size of the ones on the first set. The seller asked me when I was ordering that second set which model BMW I needed it for.... Heck if I know! I just bought the one he had listed! So, I explained to him what I was doing and reminded him that I had just recently bought a set from him, and that I just needed the exact same thing again... So, not to scare you or anything. I'm just giving u some FYI. The lights on both were exactly the same. The only difference was that contraption on the back that has to be cut off. So, you might consider asking him which model of those lights has the smallest piece sticking out of the back of it and refresh his memory about me buying 2 sets from him. The smaller the piece on the back, the smaller the hole/opening that you will have to seal over from possible moisture entering the light fixture. Just a helpful tip that I could have used when I was purchasing the 2 sets from him.
