Big insurance drop on my 3 month old Prius c!

    In mid-March I traded in my 2001 Prius for a Prius C. When I made the trade, my insurance increased by $99 for the remainder of the 6 month policy period, I was 7 weeks into it. I also raised my collision deductable from $500 to $1000. I just received my policy renewal i the mail a few days ago and my premium is about the same as it was with my 2001 prius, or about a 27% drop from the current period. Has anyone else with a prius c experienced such a drastic drop in their premium?

    I got one of the first truck loads in ans geiko was better then nationwide but still pretty high.


    maybe I should call them up.

    I just got my Prius C about 3 weeks ago. Coming from an '08 Honda Civic, my premium went up about $50 for the 6 month policy. I use Progressive and live in Louisiana (one of the highest insurance premium states).

    My Prius C is about $400 a year cheaper for the same Geico Insurance I was paying on an Echo.

    Mine went down 140 a year, I wish it was more but anything helps. But I did just have a fender bender in my old car, so I'm sure that didn't help :(
