Its not aftermarket. Its not the one with solar panel on it, regular sunroof fully automatic with one touch open and close.
It' aftermarket because the US Five does not come with a sunroof. The only sunroof the Prius has is the solar roof.
It does not look aftermarket its fully electric with one touch open and close. It also has toyota link in the same cluster. Its hard to describe I will take a picture of it and post it up
Toyota never made a V with sunroof or solar package...your dealer installed an aftermarket sunroof. It also looks like you have Prius Plug-in wheels instead of the 17s that came with the car...this had to have been done recently since the plug-in came out in 2012.
Since you've said that the sunroof is by itself and doesn't have solar panels and is of factory, the only way to tell is if the roof opening is stamped and does not have plastic or rubber gaskets around the opening. My Tacoma has a factory pop up moon roof. The service guy swore up and down that my moon roof is not factory until he saw the moonroof opening is stamped and the gutters are made of the same steel as the roof and also factory painted to match the color of the truck. The glass has Toyota itched on.
I added some interior pictures and sunroof pictures. If its aftermarket than it looks like a very good job since it looks original to me. Do not know what happen to wheels that is how I bought the car I also thought they were original. Do all prius 5 have LED mirrors?
The V(Five) has LED headlights, not mirrors. You must've purchased this car recently to have the PiP wheels. That's definitely an aftermarket sunroof. GLWS!
I know it has self-leveling LED headlights; it also has LEDs inside the mirrors. When I approach the car, brake or make a turn they light up. Dealer offering 20K for the car. I am saving 2K on taxes but its way too low.
I thought LEDs inside the mirror were also factory. The car can sense when the key is near it and the mirrors start to blink the intensity goes up the closer I get to the car. Yes the dealer offered 20K for the car as a trade in.
You seem to not know very much about this car you recently acquired. Where did you purchase this from?
I bought it from a local dealer that I have been purchasing cars from for a few years. He was also the one who found CLK550 for me and I will most likely buy another car from him once this car is sold. If anyone is interested PM me your best offer.
I know this post is old but I bet the original owner bought a PIP, swapped wheels then sold/traded the car. LOL
