When the battery power is low, the engine will kick in and then there is a loud "exhaust" sound. Are those really sound from the exhaust or some other fan? Is there. Way to block the sound from entering the cabin?
not sure what you mean, can you record it for us? to me, a loud exhaust sound and a fan sound are completely different.
Don't really know how to describe the sound. When the engine kicks in to warm up the car during the morning or during idling when the battery is depleted....there is this sound like pop, pop, pop which can be clearly heard in the cabin.
By your description it seems that the dealership should have a service department person listen to it. Mine gets a little louder when charging the battery but nothing like what you describe. Good luck.
