I saw one charging at a private residence in Nashua NH today. I think I've seen another one around.

 

Hi Dianne. Looking for your advice/input on PIP window tinting. Are you tinting yours? Do you have a recommendation for what type of tinting product is best? - Ceramic? Regular? Any input? I've read all the stuff the hot dog guys on PC have posted - lots of SoCal guys seem to be into the privacy and don't seem to care about breaking' the law. My main concern is keeping my PIP cooler inside, since I live in Sacramento and it gets hella hot here. I do need to abide by the law-I live with a retired CHP and I am a Deputy Attorney General, so I really can't be a 'scofflaw'. So, just need to keep cooler and use less A/C. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Parked beside a Clearwater Blue PiP at Dodger Stadium during last Tuesday's game. It had paper plates and no HOV stickers yet (not that those help get us to the stadium in less than an hour from within downtown...).

 

I finally saw my first pip in the wild. On the 210 westbound at Azusa in the hov. Clearwater blue. So who of you was it? 7:10am

I saw two today, a blue one and IIRC, a silver one. There's a blue one that runs around in my area.

 

Saw two other greys this morning on the 605, both NB and SB. All three of us were happily riding solo in the carpool lane.

 

Saw a Gray Plug in Prius today - using Charge Point Station at the Dublin Library (East Bay Area).

 

I still have not seen any in the DC area - other than mine. I see plenty of 2012 non-PIPs. They look so much like mine, other than the lack of a charge port. I'll keep looking!

 

Finally saw one where I live. NJ plates down in the MD area. Same color as mine as well!

OK! We finally saw our first PiP in the wild. It was a Sea Glass Pearl, just like ours. It still had the paper plates on it from San Luis Obispo Toy and it was parked at the Los Osos Farmer's Market. Must be about the 2nd in the whole county. Nice lookin' car!

We were the first PiP in our rural area (as of mid-April) but I didn't see another until two weeks ago: a PiP from Maine was visiting town for a couple of days. My wife and kids, normally annoyed by the sacrifices we've made by downsizing to the PiP, were totally excited to meet them and talk shop.

Now they're gone, and I'm still waiting...

 

Clearwater Blue Advanced (saw the headlights at night, very slick) driving up Jamboree and made a right at Robinson? into West Irvine. Anyone?

 

Haven't seen a ONE (0ther than mine!) in southeastern PA - but I think that's about to change. The dealer in MD where I got mine has about 10 in stock now!!
