Hi guys super newbie here. I just wanna ask what kind of bulb does a 2012 Prius IV uses....Is't just a H11 Bulb or its HID ? Where can I get a foglight kit? Someone told me that I need to change something on the lower grill also?
Assuming youre refering to your low beams, h11 is its base type. HID is type of bulb. The type of bulb that comes stock with your Prius are halogens. If you want to change them out to HIDs, youll need to install a ballast for both low beams. ADD fog light on 2012 Prius 4 | PriusChat
Wow thanks....anyway is the HID kit for the 2010 Priusis same as the 2012? Do you know also the bulb for the license plate?
Yes, both Priuses use H11 bulbs. The bulbs for the license plate are w5w wedge bulbs. All this information can be found in your manual under specifications.
Its H11 unless you have the LED headlights option. Someone may correct me on this but I believe there is an LED Headlights option on the IV
