As others have reported, the passenger side headlight on my 2010 Prius III burned out. I was going to replace both headlights as that seems to be a recommendation from folks in a lot of threads. Since I'll be replacing both, what do folks recommend I try to get for a brand? Just go with the OEM one's available from the parts department at the dealership or go with something else? Dealer here want $30 a bulb local parts store is $16 for Wagner.

What is the OE bulb? Is it something special? For $30.00 you can get any number of bulbs. I have used the three main upgraded ones from Sylvania and while I do believe they make a small difference in some cars .... I can't say that the much shorter life of the upper two is worth the trade off. I only discovered the shorter life after I purchased them and read the fine print.

Just called around and looks like the basic H11 Sylvania bulbs are only around $15 each. So for the price of one from the dealership I can get both.
