planning on changing out the headunit of a 2012 prius 2, but noticed that the headunit controls some of the electronics on the car, like drls, remote key controls, etc. If i take out the headunit, will it affect the electronics?
I think you will loose the easy control over these functions, but they will continue working as usual. The operational parameters will be accessible just via service software like Techstream and OBDII interface.
i heard the color is different, the HU and the dash... heard the 2012 models are bit darker.... thats what softsolution ppl said.... and they will come out with the unit that will color match soon......
