Picked her up 3 years ago today. 31K miles. 45.1 lifetime MPG. Not exactly a hypermiler, but not bad compared to the 17 MPG in my prrevious car. Still loving it. Very few issues over 3 years. Overall very satisfied with ownership experience. A big thanks to all in this wonderful community for all the great info, during the time I was contemplating whether to get a Prius, and during the ownership period.

Happy Birthday! I actually came on here to see if anyone had an opinion on purchasing the extended warranty. I'm about 1500 miles aways from 36k (just under 3 years). Any thoughts on it?

My 3rd birthday is today - a first time Prius owner back then. 28K miles, 47.8MPG, drive like a 'normal' car. Virtually trouble free - had the ABS recall, drivers window motor replaced (bit of noise), lumbar seat adjusted, and oil changes. That's it. Very pleased. Happy to say, not a single ding either. phew. I'm not a "green" person necessarily, just wanted the latest technology and liked the look of the '10 V. Still do.
