Today was a rainy day in Boston, my commute is exactly 15.0 miles, as I pulled into where I park in the garage, the engine just started... Of course it took 55 minutes to go those 15 miles today :(

    55 minutes
    15.0 miles
    999 MPG

    :)

i hate when that happens!:D but you really do notice the loss of distance on a rainy day in an ev more so than even the hybrid.

Actually it's rare to make the entire 15 mile drive in EV only, if you are driving normal speed (45-60 MPH), because my average speed was only 15MPH, the entire inbound commute was in EV.

with carefull accelleration, but keeping up with traffic, i can do my 14.8 and have a mile or so leftover. the first 2 miles are at 40mph, mild rolling hills. the 2 miles up a pretty big hill, then 2 miles on 128 at 55. luckily, the ramp is down hill which makes a huge difference. then 2 miles at 20-30 mph. i only have 3 stops the whole way. but if i drive a bit more aggresively, i can easily run out around 14 miles.

Isn't it great 15.2 round trip always all EV, ending with .09-3.1 depends on traffic and stop lights some 45mph most 25-35mph, a number of stop signs and lights. :D

  10. The car is definitely much more than any of us wished for and FREE charging, pure nirvana ! And $1500 cash back and $2500 off your taxes! It's all just TOO much.
