Chipped the paint on my 2 week old Pkg 7. Dumb Me! I went to the dealer to get touch-up paint and they had to look up the paint code. Well, Silver Pine Mica has the very same code as the older Pistachio Metallic. The code for both is 6U0 (6Uzero). Hope you don't need it as soon as I did. Ed
Good question! Not wanting to wait for the paint, I went to my local auto parts store today (Murray's Auto) just to check this same point. At the dealer yesterday, the parts person pulled up the code from the Toyota computer database, and said it was the same code the older color I mentioned above. However, he didn't mention when or what vehicles used this color. At the auto store today I couldn't find it in the list of Toyota colors in the DupliColor code reference book. I believe he did mention it is a Sherwin Williams paint. I am sure he was correct about the code and colors as I watched him search but regret not getting the details. Ed
I came up with this hit doing a google search -- for whatever it is worth "New for 2006 Toyota Sienna---Three new colors are available: Dark Gray Metallic, Pistachio Metallic and Dark Blue Mica."
I asked my dealer for his opinnion... Does that color look alright, or terrible... he said it was ok on the sienna, but it may be a little much on the van... That's the one we're gettin... End of January I hope..
