When reading a thread I'd expect it to grey out to indicate that I have already looked at it. I could be wrong but I am not seeing that behavior with the new forum layout. Is there a setting I can change to make threads grey out after being read? Thanks!
I've noticed that if I hit the back button on the browser instead of using the forum navigation at the bottom or top of the page, read posts still appear as unread until you reload the page. That might be what you are experiencing. I'm still trying to retrain myself to use the forum's navigation.
Hi stacey, Yep you got it, if I hit F-5 then the posts I have read are greyed out! Seems odd to me but that's the way it is I guess. Regards
It's browser caching. This software is a bit more aggressive with caching, so when you hit the "Back" button on your browser, you're going to see the previous page as you previously saw it. It's one of the little things that leads to the site running as fast as it has since the migration.
