Telephone Power cords work fine in my 98 Tacome and 2000 4-Runner but refuses to send a charge to my phone in my 2011 Pruis even though the blue lite indicates power cord is hot. Tryed 3 different cords with same results, blue lite is on but no charge to the phone.
Need more info. What kind of phone? Where are you plugging it in: USB port or aux? Blue light on phone or ???
Verizon Droid Charger. Aux power outlet. Pwer cord has a blue lite on the Male end and is illumated when pluged in, however the does not respond.
It has to be the cord or connection problem. 12V aux port should be the same as in your Tacoma. The AUX 12V port is not powered when the car s in OFF state. But you wrote you see the power indication. Is the cable power indicator On when you connect phone to charge it?
