Although my phone (basic, not smart phone) works fine in my 2007 Prius, I can't get it to stay connected in my PiP (basic). Sometimes it connects, sometimes no matter what I do I can't get it to, sometimes it just disconnects in the middle of a call. Help?
If the phone software is five years old, it may be an older Bluetooth protocol version that has trouble with new Toyota software.
I would suggest pairing it with another phone (friend, significant other, etc) and see if it works. If it does it's your phone, if it doesn't it might be the car. Good luck.
