This is a great question as I was wondering myself. I certainly don't fit the target market of "young, urban". I'm 43, married, no kids and live in the suburbs.
I decided that trying to fit the people buying the C into the young and urban classification just doesn't apply for this car. I think the C owners are very diverse!
I'm 34, married, no kids (4 dogs) and live in a city of about 500,000 people. I upgraded from my trusty 1999 Chevy Metro which was still getting 42 mpg. I miss having a manual, but it is so great to have better mpg's along with all the bells and whistles.
Long time lurker, first post! I'm 23, live with the folks so 5, and my first car coming from transit pass/car sharing
42, married with 1 kid. PriusC replaced 2011 camry. I commute 80miles a day to work alone, so I bought PC as a commuter car. But prior to make a decision to buy PriusC, I measured it and make sure that it met my requirements to fit in 3 pair of skis +2 passengers or my fishing rods, waders, 60G cooler +1 passenger.
42, married with two kids. Replacing 98 Corolla with 255K. Commute 90 freeway miles a day. Looking forward to the great gas mileage. This will be our first Hybrid/Prius. Far from being the hip urban life. I don't have it yet. Ordered on 5/23. Expected end of June. Model 3 | Gray Metallic | Moonroof
Edit- we just ordered ours yesterday. Summer rain with a black interior. Can't wait for it to be on its way!!
43, married, 2 teenage kids, replacing my 70 VW Karmann Ghia convertible. I ordered a c1 Moonglow last week and it is expected to be ready for pick up on June 8.
29, married, no kids. i work in the city during the week, my wife works out in the country and is on the road frequently. she's had a prius for a few years now due to her road warrior status. my new prius c replaced our 2006 toyota tacoma, which we just didn't have the use for anymore (or desire to pay to fill up).
