I may need to change my forum name to incorporate my brand new Silver Prius! "Whitey" (my White 2008) has served me almost perfectly for 107,000 miles, so why not replace my wife's van with another Prius? Welcome Streak (as in Silver Streak - get it?) Included is a pix - I know he's just like every other 2012 Silver Prius Two - but he's mine! I've driven him 75 miles with an average of 52+mpg. Man, I just love breaking that 50mpg barrier. Over the last 7000 miles Whitey did 47 mpg - no heroics attempted. I'm loving the additional bells & whistles - cool display, hill brake, bluetooth, auto-locking, and of course those seats. First impressions: This thing feels bigger than my 2008, then when the 2 of them are parked side by side, height of doors, more bulk up front, etc. I'm really looking forward to my first road trip. And I'm sure I'll be back to comment, and ask for some help. Thanks!
Congrats! We recently took our Prius on a road trip to Grants Pass, OR. Gas mileage round trip was 46mpg. The car did great over the Siskiyous—no straining or complaining ;-).
