I looovvveee dear little Freddie (my Prius C) very much. It is almost as cute as my AMC Pacer. I knew I loved it before I met it. (Anyone remember that song?) However, if I were to change one thing, it'd have to be the ground clearance. It is fearfully low. I find myself inching over speed bumps thus not to scratch the bottom. It looks even lower than the other Prius models. Not a biggie though and it doesn't change it's cuteness. What ONE thing would you change?
Honestly, the one thing that bugs me is there's no pad for your idle foot, which I always loved in my Honda. But aside from that it's total love!
I would change the damn rear headrests. They're clearly just Toyota's way of giving the finger to the NA market.
I'm going to go for something bigger, I would have put the standard liftback battery pack in it for more capacity. Even further, If I could get unlimited lifetime battery replacement, I'd love to have the 14 mile plug in option from the PIP liftback. Something small and more reasonable to expect them to change: I'd ask them to make the glide range of the throttle pedal a little bigger and easier to find and hold. Maybe with a detent click like the middle of a speaker balance knob on a stereo receiver. Know what I'm sayin? Sorry I know you capitalized ONE, but I just like wishing...
I would say less wind noise. I have to do loads of highway driving I considered saying I would like Toyota to give a option for a Bose or Sony stereo system from the dealer but upgrading the audio is something we can do fairly easily... wind noise is less simple.
Lumbar support and more adjustment options for the passenger. The seats kill my wife's bad back and the cushion angle bothers her legs. She has to use cushions and bolsters to find any comfort on long rides.
Since my top gripes were already mentioned, on to the next... I wish I could increase the brightness on the steering wheel button leds. I can't see them at night when the headlights are on.
Does anyone else feel the steering wheel buttons feel a little fragile? The rubber feels a little thin. I don't use them too much for that reason.
all the more reason to use them. if they break due to poor material choice, they will be covered under warranty. if you baby them and they break after the warranty is out, you're on the hook for the replacement cost.
+1! But my other complaint would be the speakers. Or at least offer the Bongiovi sound system thingie
