06 Black/Gray/Package 7.

Dealer last week said it was "on the boat" with expected delivery date in 3 weeks(middle of January 06). He further stated he'll "hope to get a VIN" this week.

I put down a refundable deposit($200) around the 2nd week of December, and the car is to be bought at MSRP

06' package 7 stated delivery jan-march. I just was called today and offered an 05' pkg 6 for delivery Jan 1st, I declined since I am basicly paying they same for a year old car lacking the few refinements for 06'... It was however tempting, this also made me think I may not be as far down on the list as I am being lead to belive.

 

'06 Black package #8. It's there, I've seen it -- picking up January 2.

 

'06 Package 7 on order in NYC area. Dealer called last week to say I could have a gold one by the end of January. I really want a white car and I'm willing to wait for the color I want. Dealer said the additional wait would be no longer than 3 months, probably less. So... I keep waiting.

Number 9 on the list. I'm told Precision Toyota of Tucson had been getting 40 or so a month, we'll see. Ed Fraser, the salesman, seems a very straightforward guy.

$500 down, MSRP, test-drive rental cost (one day) to be refunded at time of purchase.

Definitely noticing effects of PAS (Prius Anticipation Syndrome)

It should be here by 1/2 but having private installer put on window tinting, Invisibra, and body side mouldings.
near as I can tell this will be the 12th Prii in our little town of 8500, won't even be an unusual sight!

 

2006 Classic Silver with package # 7 in S.E. South Dakota. Should get the real vin# this week. Plan to pickup around the 13th Jan. Got Vin # yesterday, Dec. 30th, should get to visit it at the dealer next week.

 

Yes, happiness is a brand-new '06 Seaside Perl Prius--took delivery Dec 22nd 2005 in West Palm Beach FL, replacing my '03 "Classic" Prius. Quite a bit more car with this new model. Always did want a hatchback. Now I get to re-learn how to use the new NAV system and Bluetooth!

Seaside, Pkg. 4 Latest guess first part of Feb. Been on the list since Sept. and wait hasn't been too bad so far. I have a feeling the last month will be a lot worse.
